So I've been wanting to do this for awhile....make a blog of our little booger to help share and preserve the memories. I've been horrible at journaling or even writing everything in her baby book. First time moms are supposed to be really excited to log every word and every adorable thing that they do! I think if I didn't have my full time job, I'd be more gung ho about doing it. So we'll see how this experiment goes :)
So as of today, Izzie is about 8 1/2 months old. She is getting so much more fun. She said her first word this week. We decided to have her call Jack, "baba," and call me, "umma." Baba is dad in Chinese and umma is mom in Korean. Can you guess which one she said first? Baba. Grrr! It's all good though. I'm not even sure if she knows what it means yet but she will say it on command now. She also learned how to high five! and eat Cheerios! So many changes in one week.....
Here's Izzie and the cheerio she didn't want...
"Hurry up and drop a cheerio already!"
So this outfit used to have the footies but she tore right through them. not sure if its the cheaply made clothes, overuse of her walker, or sharp toenails. (look at that big toe!) She's done this to ALL her sleepers. I kept buying replacements but now I refuse!
